Sunset was past, the grass faded to black,
The twilight was diminished.
Though I did my best as I looked to the west,
I thought my mowing job would be left unfinished.
But I cast my eye to the easterly sky,
And saw the full moon was suspended.
And so, don't ya know, in that silvery glow...
My dreams of stopping were ended.
