Ride Yourself Into A Happy New Year!

Instead of imbibing too much bubbly and spending New Year's Day with a headache, why not take it easy on New Year's Eve and come out to Spoke-n-Sport's 24th Annual New Year's Day Ride? Layer up, grab the winter bike, have a refreshing ride and warm up with chili, DJ Steve Wade, OpenSprints and lots of friends. Cheers!
RECAP:
The ride was another great one... and the best ride of the year so far. There's a nice article in the Argus Leader along with some nice snapshots.
Cheers!

In The (Bike) Lane, Are Ya Listenin'?

I swapped my studded snow tires onto my hybrid bike today so I could attend FAB's annual Christmas version of the Starlight Ride. Eight hardy souls and a jolly old elf made it out. Winter Wonderland at Falls Park, Phillips Avenue, Reindeer Lane and Mr. Bendo were all on the route, topped off with cocoas and mochas at Michelle's. I officially have the Christmas Spirit now.

Official Poster for the 24th Annual New Year's Day Ride

It's about that time of year to get the studded snow tires on! What better way of starting the new year than with the first ride of the year? I'm planning on it.

Sioux Falls Cartoonists

There's a very nice article on Ken Alvine and other local cartoonists by Jay Kirschenmann at the Argus Leader today. I encourage you to check it out.
If you happen to be at this site for the first time, I've been busy with the illustration series you see below. For my cartoons, you'll have to go back to the archives of September or earlier.
I hope you enjoy!
